Is Chicheley Hall a good Wedding Venue?
This stunning building is set within 80 acres of some extremely attractive, and very well-kept grounds. The venue is an extremely popular wedding venue in Milton Keynes. The Main House can hold up to 80 guests for civil ceremony & wedding breakfast and 150 evening guests. If you prefer an Alfresco wedding ceremony, Chicheley Hall can accommodate that too! It is perfect for those who love the outdoors, romantic landscape photos, and a relaxed country manor feels.
Is Chicheley Hall perfect for wedding photographs?
Yes, it is idyllic, with an enormous amount of photo opportunities, both internally and externally. The images below capture the lavish interior design of the building. It provides an amazing backdrop for some Bride and Groom portraits. The house is surrounded by a park of 80 acres, including a lake, canal, and 25 acres of gardens. An avenue of lime trees leads you up to the house.
Is the venue licensed for civil ceremonies?
The Main House and its bar, sitting room, and dining room provide the ideal venue for, both intimate and exclusive wedding receptions.
The main door opens to a fine-paneled Great Hall, with a classical double-height ceiling. Beautiful marble columns, lead you to oak staircases to the upper floors. There is a ‘secret’ library on the upper floor, with all shelving and books concealed behind what appears to be paneling.
The interior includes some of the finest woodcarving, joinery, and plasterwork in any English country house of its period.
I find Chichelely Hall wedding venue, a very special place, steeped in history, with an overwhelming feature of grandness, and all things fine.
