Happy Couple celebrate at Skylark Farm Wedding

Antony and Jodie-Skylark Farm Wedding Photographs-Daventry

Jodie and Antony contacted me via my website. We chatted a few times on the phone and arrnaged an initial wedding consultation. Several weeks later we attended Delapre Abbey for their pre wedding shoot. I was really looking forward to their wedding day. The couple had planned their day very carefully. Because there would be many small children attending the wedding, it had to be a fun day based around lot’s of play.

The couple chose Skylark Farm Wedding Venue for their ceremony and reception. This venue provides stunning images in the countryside. With its breathtaking views and elegant charm, this exclusive wedding venue is a perfect backdrop for any wedding. It is a romantic venue, with fun at the forefront. For the children it houses large gardens with several safe play areas, a zip wire, and tree house.

A Perfect Summer Wedding

Weather wise it hadn’t been great leading up to the wedding. Thankfully, on the wedding day itself, the weather was glorious. We were very lucky to be blessed with sun, blue skies and lovely fluffy clouds, not to mention a very hot day!

Antony and Jodie’s wedding was the first time that I’d shot at this venue. I have to say it is a fabulous venue. Everything seems to have been covered. Children can happily play in the grounds, there’s a zip wire, swings and climbing frame. Many of the adults found their inner child too. They happily played with the giant Jenga, connect 4, swings, and yes, the zip wire!

Dreams of a relaxed, fun filled wedding, where all could enjoy themselves, came true. Husband, Wife, and their guests had fun throughout the day, being able to relax completely, knowing that the staff had everything in hand. There was also piece of mind that the children could play very safely.

Capturing stunning photographs was easy. With such good weather, a stunning couple and the fabulous Skylark Farm wedding venue, I couldn’t go wrong.

The Couple’s photos and Group shots

I had mainly left the couple to enjoy their wedding, snatching them away for a few shots here and there. If I’ve a preference, it’s to work unobtrusiveley, and allow the day to flow. The couple preferred this style of shooting, but we also found time for a few posed images, and family shots. Formal roups shots can be tiresome for some. I find it’s usually a good time for some banter with the guests.

After all of the images had been captured, I left the venue around 9.30pm, leaving many of them flaunting the dance floor, or posing in the photo booth! I on the other hand was looking forward to putting my feet up!

If you’re looking for an exclusive, romantic venue located in the countryside then Skylark Farm wedding is for you. If you’re looking for a Wedding Photographer at Skylark Farm, then please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
